Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how iPOS Soft ("iPOS", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit our websites, sign up for a trial, or use the iPOS Restaurant platform (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
1. Data we collect
- Account and signup data — business name, contact person, email, mobile number, country, and timezone provided at signup or when a partner creates an account for you. We also record your acceptance of the Terms of Service (timestamp and version).
- Operational data — data your business enters while using the Service, such as menus, orders, inventory, staff accounts, and your own customers' records. You control this data; we process it on your behalf.
- Usage and device data — log data, device identifiers, and analytics events that help us secure and improve the Service.
- Marketing attribution — where permitted, referral codes and advertising identifiers (such as campaign parameters or click identifiers) associated with your signup.
2. How we use data
- To provide, operate, and support the Service, including account verification and provisioning.
- To process subscription billing through our payment processor.
- To secure the platform, prevent abuse, and audit access.
- To communicate service, billing, and — with the ability to opt out — product updates.
- To measure and improve our marketing, in aggregate or pseudonymised form.
3. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service — such as cloud hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and analytics providers — under agreements that limit their use of the data, or where disclosure is required by law. If your account was created through an iPOS partner, that partner can see the business summary of the account it manages, never your operational data.
4. International transfers
The Service is hosted on cloud infrastructure that may be located outside your country. Where data is transferred internationally, we take steps designed to ensure it remains protected consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
5. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. Data from expired trials and closed accounts is deleted or anonymised after a reasonable retention period.
6. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk — including encryption in transit, tenant isolation, access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; please use strong credentials and keep them confidential.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or object to certain processing. Contact us at support@ipossoft.io and we will respond within a reasonable time. Where we process data on behalf of a business customer, we may refer your request to that business.
8. Cookies and analytics
Our public websites use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and, where permitted, for analytics and advertising measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings; essential cookies are required for the Service to work.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email, and the version and date above will change.
